Job Description:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.
  • Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
  • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing a patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing screenings, and administration of vaccinations and medications.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Ensure professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
  • Participate in the development of and maintain established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
  • Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced work environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.
  • Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $64,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year

Standard shift:

  • Day shift

Weekly schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Registered Nurse: 1 year (Required)
  • Family medicine: 1 year (Required)
